What we are learning?

Dear Parents,

We hope you have enjoyed as much as we did our Thanksgiving Celebration and that you are having a beautiful week. Holiday celebrations can be wonderful opportunities for children to learn about the traditions and values that are cherished parts of people's lives. Therefore, this week we are going to start a new theme called “Let’s celebrate”. Children will explore Christmas traditions and they will learn about how people celebrate the holidays.

Through practical actions, we keep enlightening kids about the significance of holiday traditions and helping children understand holiday activities in the context of people's daily lives. We have scheduled exciting activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences. Each one of these activities will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. A few of the activities children will enjoy are exploring the colors green and red which are colors that are traditionally associated with Christmas through play, singing the song “La Cancion de Tradiciones” with maracas, creating a Christmas tree with tempera and then decorating it, etc.

Thank you for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.
