Theme: Tan Tan Music Time Week: From 03/05/2018 to 03/09/2018

What we are learning?

Dear Parents,

We hope you all have a wonderful week. We will continue this week with our favorite theme “Tan Tan Music Time”. Children will learn and discover music from Latin America. Children will also start rehearsing the Latin song we will perform in our Fiesta Latina that will take place in April.

We will also continue working on motor and sensorial activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences while keeping strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Some activities children will enjoy are as follows:

· Dance to the music beat of our song “Pio Pio”, a Peruvian folk song.
· Dance to the music beat of Peru, Brazil and African drums while making slow and fast movements.
· Sit in circles to sing songs while passing balls and saying our names and classmates’ names.

Thank you for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.

Poems

El país donde vivo
Es mi hermoso hogar
Sus paisajes, los lugares
Todo luce fenomenal.
Yo lo cuido, lo valoro
Yo lo quiero de verdad

Finger Games

Los deditos de la mano
Todos juntos estarán
Si lo cuentas uno a uno
Cinco son y nada más
Los deditos de la mano
Estirados los verás
Si tu cuentas las dos manos
Cinco y cinco serán
